"My paintings reflect where I have lived. I find beauty in the landscape and I am inspired to paint. I paint outdoors and in my studio, and enjoy the company of other artists."
Jeanne Davis' paintings are graceful, serene, and full of vibrant color. Her scenes include landscapes of rolling hills, old farmsteads, country meadows, nearby creek beds, and West Coast beaches. She paints what she loves: quiet landscapes, scenes from her neighborhood, and candid portraits of children. She works in watercolors and oils and enjoys the unique qualities of each medium.
Davis lives with her family in Lee's Summit, Missouri. She exhibits paintings in several galleries on the West Coast. Davis is a past President of the Northwest Watercolor Society and has served on the board of the National Watercolor Society. She has won many awards in Juried Exhibitions around the United States.
